How This Works

The contractor does. This site does not measure rooms, give prices, pull permits, order materials or send anyone to your house. When you call the number on this site or send the form, you reach one licensed contractor who works in Valencia and across the Santa Clarita Valley.

That contractor answers your questions, comes to see the bathroom, writes up the scope and the price, pulls the permit when the job needs one, and does the work. Any agreement you make is between you and the contractor.

The form asks for four things: your name, your phone number, the kind of job you have in mind, and any notes you want to add. When you send it, those details go by email to the contractor, and to nobody else. They are not put on a list, shared with other contractors or sold.

1. The contractor calls you back, usually within one business day, and the two of you pick a day for a visit.
2. At the visit, the contractor measures, looks at the plumbing, the floor and the fan, and asks what you want changed.
3. You get the scope, the materials, the schedule and the price in writing before any work is agreed.
4. You decide. If the price or the plan does not suit you, you can turn it down with no obligation.

Using this site costs you nothing. The first visit and the written price are free.

Before you sign with any contractor, including the one you reach through this site, get the license number and check it. California's Contractors State License Board has a free license check that searches by license number, business name or a person's name, and it shows the license details along with any complaints the board discloses.

The check is quick, and it is worth running on every contractor you consider.

Every picture on this site is a design rendering, labeled as one. They show ideas, layouts and stages of a job. None of them is a photograph of real work, and none shows any particular house.

The guides on showers, tub conversions, small bathrooms and cost link to the codes, city pages and studies behind their numbers. Prices in them are published figures, mostly national, not quotes for your bathroom. Your price comes from the contractor, in writing.
